Gestern waren wir in der Helmut Newton Ausstellung.
Es schneite als wir auf die andere Straßenseite gingen um Fotos zu machen. Uringeruch stieg uns in die Nase.
Als wir ankamen und in das Museum gehen wollten, wirkte die Situation etwas skurril auf mich. Die Bahnhofsmission schräg gegenüber, frierende Menschen davor, auf eine warme Suppe und sonstige sozialen Kontakte wartend.
Allgemein war die Ausstellung sehenswert, aber nicht allein wegen Helmut Newton.
Ehrlich gesagt, haben mich nur wenige Fotos von Newton berührt und erreicht. Komischerweise hat mich das mehr überrascht als enttäuscht. Die Merchandising-Aktion nahm ich als unangenehm war.
François-Marie Banier hat einige Porträts ausgestellt diese waren sehr schön, gut dass es sich um eine Doppelausstellung handelte.

Yesterday we were at the Helmut Newton exhibition.
It was snowing when we went to the other side of the street to take pictures, it smelled like urine.
When we arrived and wanted to go to the museum, the situation seemed a bit bizarre to me. The mission station diagonally opposite, freezing people in front waiting for a warm soup and other social contacts.
In general, the exhibition was worth seeing, but not solely because of Helmut Newton.
Honestly, only a few photos of Newton touched and reached me. Strangely, I was more surprised than disappointed. The merchandising action was unpleasant.
François-Marie Banier has exhibited some of his very nice portraits, thank god it was a double exhibition.
